Justene Williams’ three channel video installation, FEMMZOIL, is a futurescape ( -ism, -ama), a victory—a “fist-and-cane-fighting”—of poor materials and neutrality (cardboard, photographs, tape, androgyny) to accommodate a mesmeric dance lubricated by transcendent noise.

Exhibition Dates: 17 September – 10 October 2009
